The Children's Foundation for Technology School
The Children’s Foundation for Technology School (CFOT) in Sierra Leone addresses the real challenges many students face, including limited resources, overcrowded classrooms, and a lack of access to quality education. In communities where opportunities are scarce and poverty can shape a child’s future, CFOT provides a path forward through technology and skill-based learning while also helping meet students’ basic needs—ensuring they have the stability to learn, grow, and thrive.
This mission is deeply personal. What began as a connection through my son’s teacher—who is also a neighbor—has grown into a 15-year global partnership that has directly involved my own children. Through this effort, students here in Wyoming have played an active role in supporting their peers in Sierra Leone, turning learning into meaningful, real-world impact.
One of the most powerful examples of this partnership is the student-led school garden initiative. For over 15 years, students have planted, tended, and harvested crops that were sold locally and used in a large fundraising dinner benefiting CFOT, our sister school. My children and other students were involved in every step of the process—from growing the food to creating the menu, preparing meals, and serving guests—gaining hands-on experience in science, business, and community engagement while learning the value of service and global connection.
Over the years efforts have directly supported uniforms, electricity, internet access, meals, school supplies, and expansion efforts for the school in Sierra Leone.
Through the sale of No Greater shirts, we plan to continue supporting this growth—helping expand resources, meet student basic needs, and create greater opportunities for the children CFOT serves.
This work reflects a simple but powerful truth: there is no greater investment than empowering young people. By supporting this cause, you are not only helping students access education—you are helping meet their basic needs, break cycles of hardship, and create lasting opportunity for entire communities.
